Almost time….

Current Mood:Busy emoticon Busy

We are leaving tomorrow. This week has gone by so fast it seems! I didn’t get much packing done. I can’t put any boxes or anything like that anywhere, Jason will get into them or use the to climb. I have all of Justin’s things packed and Jason’s extra toys. We are just going to put the clothes in the plastic drawer things we have for the trailer. Justin is going to use them in his room for toys and stuff until we get him some new shelves and all. I will get stuff taken care of tonight and tomorrow as we load it all up in the truck.

James ordered our bed yesterday from Costco. I canceled it today! lol! Only because when he ordered it, it never said how long it would take to receive it. We figured it would be at least within a week. When I got the confirmation email today it said they will call in 3 weeks to setup an appt on when to deliver it a week after the call. Hello! Four weeks!! I called James at work and told him, he said to cancel it. So instead we are going to drive to Eugene (2 hour drive) on either Sunday or Monday to Costco and get a bed. Not sure if I’m looking forward to that.

Anyways, I’m not sure how long it will take me to get the computer setup this weekend. We have so much to get done before James comes back on Tuesday. And my recovery disks should be there when we get there. So will have to back up stuff and get that done.

I got my portion of the next collab kit done. I think it turned out great! I can’t wait to put it out in a couple weeks. I’m working on another one with my graphics. I have to resize everything and almost draw it all over again. But at least the hard part is done. I have a pattern to follow. I’m working on a mushroom and snail kit. Antonia will be happy!

A quick shout out for exercise equipment.

The new computer

Current Mood:Busy emoticon Busy

Well, yesterday we got the new computer. I spent all day setting it up, getting almost everything installed and all. When I realized there was no sound. I messed with all the settings. Even hooked it up to the speakers that came with it. Nothing! I tried plugging them in to the headphone jack in the front and there was barely any sound and everything was turned all the way up. On top of it all, the clock wouldn’t keep time and it gave me a virus warning shortly after turning it on. It asked me to make a recovery disk for it, which after everything we have been through with my computer I was definitely going to make one. It wouldn’t do it, it just errored out. So, I got mad packed it back up and called James and told him. When he got home he tried to log on to his laptop and it out of nowhere said that Windows wasn’t genuine, and wouldn’t do anything! So we headed to Best Buy and returned the computer. They tested it and said that sound card wasn’t any good and that the computer was pretty much crap. Lol! I could have told them that. So we looked at the other ones and didn’t see anything we wanted.

So we stopped by the Wii section and was looking around when I noticed they had Wii Fits in. They weren’t there earlier! We grabbed one for ourselves and one for James’ sister since her birthday is next week. She has been really wanting one and he called her to make sure that she hadn’t gotten one yet. He went ahead and told her that we were getting her one and she didnt’ seem thankful at all. Just said “Why did you tell me”. She really annoys me. She uses James and their dad and never says thank you or does anything in return. Anyways! We also got Mario Kart for the Wii. The Wii Fit is awesome. I just set it up last night. James and Justin did a little workout with it. I am waiting until Jason takes his nap today to do much with it.

We decided that we will probably get one of the super awesome computers from Costco in a month or so. James called HP when we got back and found out that it’s just some sort of fluke that happens every once in awhile with the laptops. He also ordered the recovery disks for my computer so I can fix it.

I’m spending today sorting through the boy’s clothes and getting some things packed and ready to go. I’m working on two new collab kits also. One is due out the beginning of September the other around December. I’m going to love having my monitor back so I can see things better.

A quick shout out for balance transfer.

Computers

Current Mood:Blah Blah Blah emoticon Blah Blah Blah

Well, I’m getting a new computer today. It’s not going to be anything special but it will be a bit better than my HP now. We started having problems with the computer when we had had it for almost a year. Shortly before the warranty was up. I ended up not being able to format it because the partition was corrupted. So they sent us a free set of recovery disks because they said the model of computer we had had partition issues and we would just have to live with it basically. I’ve been dealing with it ever since then. Well, I needed to format the computer awhile back (not sure if you remember my blog on that). We couldn’t find the recovery disks anywhere. We ended up thinking that during the move and sorting through the storage unit James got rid of them by accident. Every time I go to eject a disk my computer restarts. There is a corrupt file in Windows. I tried to make my own recovery disks like they recommend on the website before ordering some and low and behold the windows file is corrupted on the disks too! Well, because of all this restarting when I eject the disk, it has corrupted my dvd of commercial use scrapbook stuff. I luckily have almost all my Atomic Cupcake actions and a few other things. But I know I lost some stuff. I don’t even want to remember exactly what is on there because it will just upset me more. I’m hoping that I didn’t back up some purchased kits on to it and just don’t remember. But hopefully I think I still have those on my computer because I’m using them for the kid’s pages currently. Does anyone know of a recovery program I can use? I have one that only works for picture files and I can’t find one that will work for different files. I will survive if I can’t get the files back, but it sure would be nice.
Anyways, James told me yesterday that we would just get a new computer. He still wants me to order the recovery disks and fix this one. He said that we can give this one to Justin. He doesn’t know yet!

Oh, just to let you know. I got a Ped Egg yesterday and we love it! Thank you Darylynn for letting us all know how awesome it is!

The days are counting down until we go to Coos Bay. In some ways I’m excited and in others I’m definitely not! When we get there this weekend James is going to have a talk to his dad about his sister and a few other things. We have to clean out the upstairs. I’m going to vacuum the carpets so much there probably won’t be much left. I don’t think his sister ever vacuumed up there during the 2 years she lived there. Eww!! Justin decided that he will take the open downstairs bedroom and me and Jason get the 2 upstairs. We are picking up our new bed from Costco Thursday evening. We are going to wait to get Justin’s bunk bed, there is a little bed there he can use for now.

I should probably get going. I need to get some things here sorted out and packed. Have to get the boys up and dressed so we can get the new computer. Hugs!! Just a quick shout out for savings account.

I forgot

Current Mood:Bad Hair Day emoticon Bad Hair Day

I forgot to mention the other day that Jason said something. We were sitting on the couch, James was playing his Zelda game on the Wii, Justin was sitting in a chair next to the couch eating a cookie. Jason reached out and wanted one so Justin gave him one. I told Jason to say “Thank you” and he said “ane ooo”. It was so cute.

I got the school clothes shopping done yesterday! We never really have to do a big shopping trip for school clothes. I like to pick things up through the year. So Justin never really needs that much.

Well, I better get going. I have to cancel Justin’s counselor appointment for today since it’s not getting us anywhere. Hugs everyone!

News…

Current Mood:Hello emoticon Hello

James’ dad said that we could give it a try. He doesn’t sound too thrilled about it. But, after everything that he went through when James’ sister stayed there for 2 years with her kids, I can understand. He talked to his sister today and she started chewing him out for having us stay there for a little while. She said that we should just go rent a place instead of being a burden to their dad. I’m just irritated now. I’m sure she said it because his dad was whining and complaining about it. That’s just how he is. He won’t come out and say something to you really. He goes behind your back and complains to someone else because he knows that they will say something. James said that next week he will call him and make sure that it’s still ok and all and tell him what his sister said about it. He said that if it is uncomfortable or problems start arising then we will rent a place for a couple months until we get the house.

Justin had his appointment with the Neurologist today. She said that since we are moving back to Oregon that we need to get him into a permanent doctor again. Duh! Lol!! She said that his headaches might start up again once he starts school and is under some stress. We went over the usual and she reminded us to tell the doctor about his MRI and everything that happened. She said that basicly we’ve been seeing this therapist for nothing because she can’t do anything for us. We figured that out when she told us that she knows what is going on but then she won’t tell us what it is. So, we won’t go to the appointment this week. We will wait to see his doctor in Coos Bay. I’ll call them tomorrow and schedule an appointment.

Well, I guess that’s all that is going on right now. Hugs!

A quick shout out for patio furniture covers.
